The ticket gives you entrance to the open-air museum with guides and various activities as well as the exhibitions at Krona.
The museum is open 12:00 - 16:00.
Krona is the new building housing the Romsdal Museum – with magnificent wooden architecture inside and out. “Romsdalshistorier” (Histories from Romsdal) is the permanent exhibition, telling the story of the valley’s inhabitants and their way of life through the ages. Temporary exhibits will feature between 5-6 new exhibits a year. Kafé Mali serves simple lunches, cakes and coffee, and is the venue for small-scale events. The Museum Shop sells souvenirs and gifts, some made by local craft specialists and designers. The department for traditional costumes (Bunad Verksted) makes reconstructed folk costumes from Romsdal, for both women and men, and is member of Economusée – Artisans at work.
